Inside the Food Intolerance Master 220+
The Food Intolerance Test in Dubai, our Food Intolerance Master 220+, measures IgG antibody reactivity against 220+ individual foods spanning dairy, grains, meats, seafood, fruits, vegetables, nuts, herbs and spices. It is chosen by people living with long-running bloating, wind, irregular digestion, fatigue, headaches or skin flare-ups who want a structured place to begin, usually alongside a dietitian, rather than cutting foods out one guess at a time.
Be clear about what the numbers are. IgG antibodies to food are found in healthy people and largely reflect what you eat, so a high value marks familiarity rather than harm. Allergy and immunology societies do not recommend IgG food testing to identify food allergy or food intolerance, and this panel does not do so: it produces a food-by-food reactivity list, and the clinical meaning comes from what happens when a food is removed and then returned. Immediate reactions such as hives, swelling or wheeze are a different mechanism entirely and need IgE allergy testing instead.
One blood sample is enough, at AED 1,499. There is no fast to keep and no medication to pause, but do keep eating normally in the run-up, including anything you already suspect, because a food you stopped weeks ago may read low simply through absence. A DHA-licensed phlebotomist collects the sample free of charge anywhere in Dubai, seven days a week, or you can visit the lab. The physician-reviewed Smart Report follows in 3 – 5 days.
Use the report as a shortlist, never as a diet. With a dietitian or your doctor, a small number of foods come out for a few weeks against a symptom diary, then go back one at a time to see what genuinely changes. Whole food groups should not disappear on the strength of an antibody value, and anyone with weight loss, blood in the stool, anaemia or a history of disordered eating needs a medical assessment first.

From booking to answers in a few days
- 1
Book with your diet unchanged
Reserve a home visit anywhere in Dubai, seven days a week. Carry on eating as you normally do beforehand, suspect foods included, so the panel reflects your current diet.
- 2
One sample, nothing to prepare
A single tube of blood covers the whole panel. No fasting, no pause in medication and no special meal the night before; the sample can be taken at any hour that suits you.
- 3
220+ foods graded individually
The laboratory measures IgG reactivity to each food separately and returns a food-by-food list, grouped so that dairy, grains, seafood, produce and spices can be seen together.
- 4
Plan it with a professional
Your Smart Report arrives securely in 3 – 5 days. Bring it to a dietitian or your doctor, who will turn the list into a short trial rather than a long list of foods to fear.
Frequently asked questions
It means your immune system has met that food and made IgG to it. That is a normal response to eating, present in people with no symptoms at all, and it is why allergy and immunology bodies do not accept IgG as evidence of allergy or intolerance. Treat a high value as a question to test, not an answer.
No. Allergy testing measures IgE, the antibody behind hives, swelling, vomiting and wheeze within minutes of eating, and that is what our Food Allergies 44 panel reads. This panel measures a different antibody class and says nothing about the risk of an immediate reaction.
It cannot, and neither should be assumed from a grain or dairy result here. Coeliac disease is confirmed with its own antibody tests taken while you are still eating gluten, usually with a biopsy, and lactose intolerance is assessed by a breath or tolerance test. Ask your doctor for those directly.
The usual approach is to take the highest-reacting foods you also suspect, remove a small number of them for a few weeks while keeping a symptom diary, then reintroduce them one at a time and watch what returns. The reintroduction is the part that carries the information, not the printed value.
No, and a long exclusion list is the main risk of this kind of testing. People commonly react to the foods they eat most, so following the report literally can strip out staples for no benefit and leave the diet short on protein, calcium, fibre or iron. Remove little, and only with guidance.
Because IgG tracks exposure. Bread, milk, egg, rice and the ingredients in your regular meals meet your immune system constantly, so they often sit at the top of the list. That pattern is expected, and it is one reason the results have to be read against symptoms rather than ranked and obeyed.
Anyone losing weight without trying, passing blood, anaemic, vomiting persistently or unwell with fever, and anyone testing on behalf of a child or during pregnancy. If you have a history of disordered eating, an unsupervised elimination plan can do real harm, so involve your doctor or dietitian from the start.
Bloating, urgency and fatigue often trace to irritable bowel syndrome, fermentable carbohydrates, Helicobacter pylori, an infection or a thyroid problem rather than to a particular food. Your doctor may prefer gut testing first, or run it alongside this panel.
Neither, and the second matters. Fasting makes no difference to the measurement, but foods you have already dropped for weeks can read low through absence rather than tolerance, so the panel is most useful while you are still eating your normal range. Tell your doctor about anything you have recently excluded.
The Food Intolerance Master 220+ is AED 1,499, home sample collection anywhere in Dubai included, with the physician-reviewed Smart Report in 3 – 5 days. The panel runs as our IgG Food Intolerance Panel; if you are weighing it against allergy testing, talk to us first.

I had my full OGTT done at Intel Lab and had a great experience. The employees were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout the process. They explained each step clearly, which really helped ease my nerves. They also took my blood sample very carefully, especially since I’m afraid of needles, which I truly appreciated. Everything was handled professionally and smoothly. Highly recommended!
