The attention was very clear and fast. Jophy Mathew was very polite and kind with his service, 5 stars for him. The medical testes were quickly. I recommend this company a lot!

Inside the STD Extended 14
The STD Extended 14: 14-Pathogen PCR Panel is our broad genital-tract screen, run by real-time PCR on one urine sample and reported target by target. It covers the bacterial causes: Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Mycoplasma genitalium, Mycoplasma hominis, Ureaplasma urealyticum, Ureaplasma parvum, Treponema pallidum, Haemophilus ducreyi, Gardnerella vaginalis and Group B Streptococcus, alongside the protozoan Trichomonas vaginalis, the yeast Candida albicans, and herpes simplex types 1 and 2.
Breadth is the point. Genital symptoms rarely announce which organism is responsible: discharge, itching, odour and irritation can come from a sexually transmitted infection, an overgrowth of yeast, or the shift in bacterial balance that Gardnerella vaginalis marks, and the treatments differ completely. Testing all of them at once means the answer arrives with the first sample. Two targets need context. Candida albicans and Gardnerella vaginalis are part of normal genital flora in many people, so they are read as overgrowth rather than something caught from a partner, and Group B Streptococcus is commonly carried without causing illness, mattering mainly in late pregnancy.
The sample is urine. Hold your urine for an hour or two before collecting, then catch the first part of the stream, because the cells it carries are what the PCR reads. No fasting and no examination, though your doctor may still want a swab from a symptomatic site. Free collection is available anywhere in Dubai, seven days a week, by a DHA-licensed phlebotomist, or you can come to the laboratory; the physician-reviewed Smart Report follows within 48 hours.
One limit is worth stating. PCR detects what is in the sample at that moment, so a negative herpes or Treponema pallidum result does not exclude a past or latent infection: herpes sheds intermittently, and syphilis is normally diagnosed on blood. A very recent exposure may not show yet either, and your doctor may advise a repeat.

From booking to answers in a few days
- 1
Urine only, collected at home
No examination and no clinic visit unless you want one, though your doctor may still ask for a site-specific swab. A sterile container comes with the appointment and can be collected from your door.
- 2
Hold your urine, take the first part
Avoid passing urine for an hour or two beforehand, then collect the first part of the stream. Giving a midstream sample instead can weaken the PCR result, so take the first portion.
- 3
Fourteen targets, run separately
The laboratory amplifies each pathogen in its own reaction, so the bacteria, the yeast, the protozoan and both herpes types are reported individually rather than as one combined verdict.
- 4
Detected or not, within 48 hours
Each target comes back with a plain answer, physician-reviewed, in a secure Smart Report. Precise reporting is what lets your doctor pick the right antibiotic, antifungal or antiviral.
Frequently asked questions
Fourteen targets from one urine sample: chlamydia, gonorrhoea, trichomonas, Mycoplasma genitalium and hominis, Ureaplasma urealyticum and parvum, herpes simplex types 1 and 2, Treponema pallidum, Haemophilus ducreyi, Candida albicans, Gardnerella vaginalis and Group B Streptococcus.
It contains everything in the STD Core Screening (STD-7) and adds seven further targets: both herpes simplex types, Treponema pallidum, Haemophilus ducreyi, Candida albicans, Gardnerella vaginalis and Group B Streptococcus. Same urine sample, same reporting, a wider net.
It tells you whether herpes simplex genetic material was present in the sample you gave. Because the virus sheds intermittently, a negative result does not exclude carrying it: it means nothing was shedding that day. Whether you have ever been infected is a blood antibody question for your doctor.
It detects Treponema pallidum if the organism is present in the sample, which is most useful when there is a sore or lesion. Syphilis is normally screened on blood instead, so a negative PCR does not exclude it. The STD Advanced 20 adds an RPR blood screen to this panel.
Usually not. Both are common members of normal genital flora, and trouble starts when the balance shifts: thrush in the case of Candida albicans, bacterial vaginosis where Gardnerella vaginalis predominates. They are on the panel because they cause the same symptoms as an STI and are treated quite differently.
Because it shares the same site and the same sample. Group B Streptococcus is commonly carried in the genital tract without causing illness and is not regarded as a sexually transmitted infection. It matters most in pregnancy, where knowing your status guides care around delivery.
No. Human papillomavirus is not among the targets here and is tested on its own, from a cervical or genital swab rather than urine. If HPV is the question you came with, the HPV test is the booking you want.
PCR reads the organism itself, so it can turn positive sooner than a blood antibody test, but not immediately. A very recent exposure may not show yet, and your doctor may advise repeating the panel. If you already have symptoms, test now: symptoms are their own reason.
Yes to both. Each booking is private and each report is released only to the person it belongs to, so couples screening on the same visit still receive separate results. Our STD testing in Dubai page explains how private screening works here.
AED 499, with free sample collection anywhere in Dubai seven days a week or a laboratory visit if you prefer. There is no fasting and no medicine to stop; the only preparation is holding your urine for an hour or two. Results follow within 48 hours.

I had my full OGTT done at Intel Lab and had a great experience. The employees were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout the process. They explained each step clearly, which really helped ease my nerves. They also took my blood sample very carefully, especially since I’m afraid of needles, which I truly appreciated. Everything was handled professionally and smoothly. Highly recommended!
