The attention was very clear and fast. Jophy Mathew was very polite and kind with his service, 5 stars for him. The medical testes were quickly. I recommend this company a lot!

Inside the Menopause Profile
The menopause is more than two hormones, and a Menopause Blood Test in Dubai should reflect that. It reports 59 biomarkers from 19 tests in one appointment: the reproductive markers follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinising hormone (LH), estradiol (E2), progesterone, prolactin and quantitative beta human chorionic gonadotropin (beta hCG); full thyroid function, with thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), free thyroxine (FT4) and free tri-iodothyronine (FT3); a complete lipid profile; and a general-health layer of full blood count, serum iron, creatinine, random glucose and urinalysis. It is for women with hot flushes, night sweats or poor sleep, periods that have changed or stopped, and anyone weighing hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
The breadth is deliberate: menopause and its imitators overlap. A rising FSH with a falling estradiol is the expected pattern as ovarian reserve declines, but the numbers swing through the perimenopause, so one reading is evidence, not a verdict. Thyroid disease causes the same hot flushes, palpitations, broken sleep and mood change. Pregnancy is still possible while periods occur at all, which is why beta hCG is here. Heavy or erratic bleeding drains iron, so the blood count and serum iron look for anaemia behind the fatigue.
The panel needs a blood sample and a urine sample, given at one visit. Fast for 8–12 hours overnight (plain water is fine) because the lipid markers and serum iron need a fasted morning sample. If you are still having periods, ask your doctor whether the draw should fall on a particular cycle day. Free home collection is available anywhere in Dubai, 7 days a week, and the physician-reviewed Smart Report arrives within 48 hours.
As oestrogen falls, cholesterol tends to rise, so the lipid results are worth repeating as the years pass; the report adds Non-HDL Cholesterol, calculated from values already in the panel at no cost. Take it to your doctor, who reads the hormones alongside your symptoms.

- CHDLCholesterol, HDLThe 'good' cholesterol that clears excess from your arteries.
- CLDLDCholesterol, LDL (Direct)Directly measured LDL: more reliable than the calculated figure.

- CSCreatinine, SerumThe muscle waste product kidneys clear: a workhorse kidney marker.
Hormones & Fertility
5 tests- FOLFollicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)Pituitary hormone driving egg and sperm production.
- PROProlactinThe milk hormone: high levels disrupt cycles and fertility.
- LHLHLuteinizing Hormone (LH)Triggers ovulation in women and testosterone production in men.
- EE2Estradiol (E2)The main female sex hormone: fertility, cycle and menopause status.
- PROProgesteroneConfirms ovulation and supports early pregnancy.
Endocrinology
3 tests- THYThyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)The single most sensitive test of thyroid function.
- TRITri-Iodothyronine, Free (FT3)Active free T3: often the first to rise in hyperthyroidism.
- TFFT4Thyroxine, Free (FT4)The active, unbound T4: paired with TSH to steer dosing.

Fast overnight before the visit
Nothing to eat for 8–12 hours beforehand; plain water is fine. The lipid markers and serum iron need a fasted morning sample before they mean very much.
- 2
Blood and urine, same appointment
Your DHA-licensed phlebotomist takes the blood sample and collects the urine sample in one visit: at home, at your office or at the lab, 7 days a week across Dubai.
- 3
19 tests, 59 reported biomarkers
The count is higher than the test list because the full blood count and the routine urinalysis each contribute a large group of individual measurements to the report.

Reviewed and released in 48 hours
A physician checks every value before release. The Smart Report keeps hormones, thyroid, lipids and general health in separate groups and adds calculated Non-HDL Cholesterol.
Frequently asked questions
19 tests reporting 59 biomarkers: FSH, LH, estradiol, progesterone, prolactin and beta hCG; TSH with free T4 and free T3; a full lipid profile; and a general-health layer of full blood count, serum iron, creatinine, random glucose and urinalysis. Blood and urine are collected in the same visit.
Not on its own. Menopause is recognised clinically, after periods have stopped for a full year. Blood work supports that judgement (a high FSH with a low estradiol fits the pattern), but in the perimenopause these values rise and fall from month to month, so your doctor weighs them against your symptoms and your age.
Context for the conversation rather than a dose calculation. It shows where your hormones sit, and it maps the general health your doctor will want to know about first: thyroid function, cholesterol, blood count, iron and kidney markers. What is monitored afterwards is your prescriber's decision.
Because pregnancy remains possible until periods have stopped for good, and a missed period during the perimenopause is easy to attribute to the wrong cause. Quantitative beta hCG answers that question in the same sample, before anything else is interpreted.
Because an over- or underactive thyroid produces much the same picture: hot flushes, palpitations, disturbed sleep, weight change and low mood. It is common in women of this age and it responds to treatment, so it is checked in the same draw. See our thyroid panel for the standalone version.
Falling oestrogen shifts the lipid picture (total and LDL cholesterol tend to drift up, and HDL can fall), which changes long-term cardiovascular risk. Having the baseline now means your doctor can see the direction of travel rather than a single figure years later.
No. There is no vitamin D, calcium or bone turnover marker in this panel, and bone density is measured by a scan rather than by blood. You can add vitamin D at checkout, or choose the Extended Vitamins & Minerals panel alongside this one.
They cover what the transition actually does to you. Erratic or heavy bleeding is a common cause of iron deficiency and anaemia, which explains far more fatigue than hormones do, and the urinalysis picks up infection, protein or sugar that would otherwise go unnoticed.
Fast for 8–12 hours overnight, drinking plain water only. At the appointment your phlebotomist takes one blood sample and collects a urine sample, so allow a few extra minutes for the second. You can eat as soon as the visit is finished.
AED 399 covers all 19 tests, the calculated Non-HDL Cholesterol, and free home collection anywhere in Dubai, 7 days a week. Results are released together as a physician-reviewed Smart Report within 48 hours of collection, with nothing billed afterwards.

Yesterday I visited Intel Lab for my blood test and had an excellent experience. The staff were professional, polite, and very supportive. The process was quick, clean, and well organized. I received my results on time without any hassle. I highly recommend Intel Lab for reliable medical services.
I had my full OGTT done at Intel Lab and had a great experience. The employees were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout the process. They explained each step clearly, which really helped ease my nerves. They also took my blood sample very carefully, especially since I’m afraid of needles, which I truly appreciated. Everything was handled professionally and smoothly. Highly recommended!
