Inside the Master Health Checkup
The Master Health Checkup is our widest general checkup: a full body checkup in Dubai carrying every organ, metabolic, thyroid and reproductive marker in the Elite tier, plus the cardiac and insulin layer that turns a good annual screen into a long-term risk record. High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), standard CRP, homocysteine, fasting insulin, creatine kinase and ferritin join the liver, kidney, lipid, electrolyte, sugar, hormone and vitamin panels, a full blood count, a routine urinalysis and stool microscopy: 86 biomarkers from one appointment. It is built for adults over 45, and anyone carrying weight, blood pressure and family history at once.
The extra markers answer questions the standard panels leave open. Fasting insulin read beside fasting glucose and glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) can show insulin resistance while glucose still looks normal, which is the window in which lifestyle change does the most work. High-sensitivity CRP measures the low-grade vascular inflammation associated with heart attack and stroke, and ordinary CRP beside it separates that quiet signal from an infection. Homocysteine ties the cardiac and nutritional halves together, since a raised level often reflects low vitamin B12 or folate, and B12 is measured in the same draw. Creatine kinase covers muscle, which matters if you train hard or take a statin.
Three samples are needed: blood and urine at the appointment, plus stool from the container handed over to you. Fasting glucose, insulin, homocysteine and the lipid panel all require an 8–12 hour overnight fast, so book early and drink only plain water. A DHA-licensed phlebotomist comes to your home or office anywhere in Dubai, 7 days a week, at no cost, and results are typically ready within 72 hours.
A panel this wide is most useful repeated on the same month each year, so trends rather than single values guide decisions. Your doctor reads it with your blood pressure, waist measurement, medication and family history.

- BIUBilirubin, Indirect (Unconjugated)Unprocessed bilirubin: rises with red cell breakdown and Gilbert's syndrome.
- BTBilirubin, TotalDirect and indirect bilirubin together, a staple of liver function panels.
- PTSProtein, Total, SerumAlbumin and globulin combined: liver, kidney and nutrition.
- ALBAlbuminThe liver's main blood protein: low in liver, kidney or nutrition problems.
- ASPAspartate Aminotransferase (AST/SGOT)Liver, heart and muscle enzyme, usually read alongside ALT.
- UREUreaProtein waste cleared by the kidneys, the sibling of BUN.
Haematology

1 testDiabetes
4 tests- HA1HbA1cYour average blood sugar over the past 2–3 months, no fasting.
- GFGlucose, FastingBlood sugar after an overnight fast: a front-line diabetes test.
- IFInsulin, FastingBaseline insulin: an early signal of insulin resistance.
- GRGlucose, RandomBlood sugar at any moment, with no fasting or timing needed.
Vitamins & Minerals
3 tests- VITVitamin D, 25 Hydroxy (25-OH), TotalThe definitive vitamin D test: bone, immunity and mood.

Endocrinology
3 tests- THYThyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)The single most sensitive test of thyroid function.
- TRITri-Iodothyronine, Free (FT3)Active free T3: often the first to rise in hyperthyroidism.

Book, then rest the day before
Take an early slot for the 8–12 hour fast, and skip a hard workout the day before: strenuous exercise can lift creatine kinase on its own and cloud the muscle reading.
- 2
Extra tubes for the cardiac assays
This panel runs more assays than the smaller tiers, so an additional tube or two is drawn at the same sitting (one arm, a few minutes) and the urine and stool containers are handed over with it.
- 3
All assays in a single pass
Cardiac, metabolic, hormonal and organ assays are processed at our EIAC-accredited laboratory (ISO 15189:2022) under DHA licence 0046381, each against its own validated method.

Smart Report within 72 hours
Your physician-reviewed report is typically ready within 72 hours and lays out all 86 biomarkers by system, so the cardiac and insulin results sit next to the lipids they belong with.
Frequently asked questions
Six additions: high-sensitivity CRP, standard CRP, homocysteine, fasting insulin, creatine kinase and ferritin. They turn a broad organ and hormone screen into a cardiovascular and metabolic risk assessment, which is the difference between knowing your cholesterol and understanding your heart risk.
High-sensitivity CRP detects the low-grade inflammation associated with heart attack and stroke risk, at levels a standard CRP is not designed to resolve. Standard CRP catches the loud kind (infection, injury, an autoimmune flare), and having both stops a passing cold being mistaken for a vascular signal.
Insulin resistance usually appears years before blood sugar drifts, because the pancreas compensates by producing more insulin. A raised fasting insulin with a normal fasting glucose is that compensation made visible, and it is the stage at which weight, diet and exercise change the trajectory most.
Homocysteine is an amino acid associated with clot and stroke risk, and a raised level frequently reflects low vitamin B12 or folate rather than anything cardiac. Measuring both in the same draw tells your doctor which explanation to pursue first.
Adults over 45 building a detailed health record, people with several risk factors stacked together (extra weight, raised blood pressure, a family history of early heart disease) and anyone who prefers one thorough appointment a year to a series of small panels.
If reproductive hormones matter more than heart risk, the Elite Health Checkup covers that ground. If the heart is the whole question and you want apolipoproteins and lipoprotein(a), the focused Extensive Cardiac Function panel is the sharper instrument.
Once a year is the usual rhythm, ideally in the same month so like is compared with like. Individual markers move faster: after a change in diet, training or medication, your doctor may recheck insulin, lipids or ferritin on their own within a few months instead of repeating everything.
Fast 8–12 hours overnight with plain water only, since glucose, insulin, homocysteine and the lipid panel all depend on it. Avoid strenuous exercise the day before, which can raise creatine kinase. Continue prescribed medication unless your doctor advises otherwise, and mention any supplements.
Your report is typically ready within 72 hours of the samples reaching the laboratory, and arrives as a secure digital Smart Report reviewed by a physician before release. You can open it on any device and share it with your own doctor as a single file.

Yesterday I visited Intel Lab for my blood test and had an excellent experience. The staff were professional, polite, and very supportive. The process was quick, clean, and well organized. I received my results on time without any hassle. I highly recommend Intel Lab for reliable medical services.
I had my full OGTT done at Intel Lab and had a great experience. The employees were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout the process. They explained each step clearly, which really helped ease my nerves. They also took my blood sample very carefully, especially since I’m afraid of needles, which I truly appreciated. Everything was handled professionally and smoothly. Highly recommended!
